Dimitri Kechagias review: Discover Dark presents another drop dead gorgeous dark trance EP by Peter Plaznik. The very creative producer does his best to impress. His two megabombs included will blow the speakers and cause hysteria for sure. His unique and established by now sound that is dark, sinister but with euphoric hints as well seems to work really well on the dancefloor. Heavy Dose is pumping bouncy driving number with metallic beats , sharp driving basslines and atmospheric breakdown with cool spoken vocal sample. The climax goes all rough and rocking with spooky atmosphere while the main hi-nrg synth remains at the back understated at the beginning and in the final sequence becomes more prominent creating a sense of urgency. The 2nd superb track is called High Consciousness and is certainly another classy example of dark doomy gloomy tech trance with uplifting elements, acid overtones and psy trance infusions as well. The vocal sample in the breakdown is super clever and mind opening. Personally I love those spoken vocal samples with deep meanings that raise the consciousness of the listeners. Prime time trance weapons if you are not afraid the 138 BPM. Love iT
