Dimitri Kechagias review: ASOT is the beloved Armin van Buuren record label that is highly regarded and praised as a result of its exceptional releases so far. For example the latest track that is out now is simply magnificent and it doesnt sounds the same with anything else that you may have heard before. Driftmoon & Andy Blueman feat. Dsharp present the fantastic track Exodus that you may even label as classic already. It sounds old school and definitely with early 2000 type of trance. Deep progressive but driving basslines, pumping techy beats and beautiful strings. The breakdown reveals the huge violin riff that oozes class and high quality. Of course the whole sounddesign of that sequence is really cinematic and offer the right sparkle in your mind to start making mental images in your head. The climax goes for the full on hands in the air section that is not over the top but rather stays on quite suble and very humble way and it wins your attention not because of massive soundeffects but rather with its incredible simplicity and original classical orchestral musicality. It makes you fly upon your little fluffy clouds for sure. This is What I Call Trance, Love iT
