Gai Barone's - new release is called "Save My Queen" coming along with great original mix
+ a deeper remix by "Loquai"
Dimitri Kechagias review: Against the era of many standardised and similar EDM tracks there are some artists who follow their lonely path with certain clear vision in their heads of what they want to achieve. Gai Barone seems to get the recognition he deserves with his releases on prolific labels like Coldharbour or Bonzai Progressive. His music is not so easy to categorise cause simply its everything and anything. The sure thing is that he moves in, out and around the deep dark progressive trance meets house territory by giving attention mainly in the atmosphere, the sound design, the unforgettable synthy melodies and less on commercial considerations. Gai Barone first of all is an artists who narrates through his sound a story that invites each one of us to visualise it in our minds. Save My Queen except the inspired title is haunting, mysterious but very warm and tender track that will hypnotise you and put your mind and senses in that so much labelled by scientists "state of trance". On remix duties is the top talent Loquai aka Konstantin Alt from Kazakhstan who resides in Frankfurt, Germany. His version is melodic progressive house with trance elements as well. His version is deep, driving and quite minimal with bursts of little synthy riffs coming and going creating a colourful environment. Very danceable, clean cut and crispy sparkling version is the perfect alternative to the huge original. With certain British prog house aesthetics to it I guess is the sound that John Digweed or Sasha will love to play! Quality package that is highly recommended. Love iT
