It’s not news that Electronic Dance Music has gone global these past years. This ever-growing market is exceeding its own boundaries with every track that’s released. EDM, an umbrella term encompassing many electronic genres, doesn’t have a chart yet which gives the end-users (you, the listener!) the ability to determine the charts entries, until now. On September 9th the EDM TOP 50 will be launched. A weekly chart, updated every Monday as voted for by the EDM community. On EDMTOP50.com you can determine which track makes it in the list by voting for your favorite song.
The EDM TOP 50 serves you a selection of tracks and you choose your 5 favorite songs on EDMTOP50.com. Tracks have been selected based on club-play and dance charts in various countries and digital platforms like iTunes and Beatport. Can’t find your favorite song? Then add it yourself under the option ‘missing track’. If enough voters also choose this song it will automatically be included in next week’s list.
