REVIEW: Woody van Eyden & Maarten De Jong - It's A Shark! out on VANDIT records

Throughout their careers, Dutch DJ/producers Woody van Eyden and Maarten de Jong built stellar reputations with quality productions and by bringing smiles and dance moves to clubbers worldwide. For VANDIT's latest release, they pair up for a collaboration with 'It's A Shark!'.

Van Eyden's Original Mix delivers a trancier approach with his massive synthesizer chords while de Jong hits some tech/prog style with cutting-edge, razorsharp bass lines, and driving drums. A trio of tracks combining slamming synths, extreme buildups, and even some bubbles can't slow down this heavy-hitting duet of Dutchmen!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved trance label VANDIT records headed by the legend and EDM pioneer Paul van Dyk that I had the chance to check him out twice at Tomorrowland in Belgium and Nature One in Germany presents the monumental collaboration between two great talents and hard working producers. Woody van Eyden connects with Maarten De Jong and unleash the very energetic and very powerful big room/tech trancer Its A Shark. The package includes 3 must play versions ready made for big room clubs and festivals too. Woody van Eyden's Original mix is dynamic, energetic and absolutely smashing tech trance/ big room  at its very best. Everything is well timed and composed as it must be done to bring the maximum impact on the dancefloor. The sound of sea plus the cinematic vocal samples will definitely make you think seriously about its title and get ready for the attack from shark's that is about to happen anytime soon. Maarten de Jong goes for a techier chunkier groovy tech trance version that follows the current trends of the more house/electro infused trance sound but with huge does of the epic euphoric synthy lead that recalls the melodies of the good old rave days. Woody offers an Alternative version as well that is harder, sharper with extra punch and hard dance basslines. Amazing production that brings fresh air in the trance scene and make you aware that there are sharks coming so better be aware..Love IT
