Joshua Tobin & Jack Rutherford land the TR20 spaceship at Baroque HQ with a storming double header..
Admiral makes its move , with a pulsating electronic groove, techno bass, glitchy electro melodies & super spacey percussive layers. proper heads down rocking techno. Pushin is a heavy techno affair, with bustling beats & a thick heavy bassline , sparse delayed melody hooks lift things as the production of the beats keeps this one interesting, dark broody techno at its finest
Dimitri Kechagias review: Baroque never let you down and this release stays true to the Baroque motto/spirit of constant innovation, experimentation and new ideas on the table. TR20 belong certainly to the category of artists who push the boundaries to find their own way through what we term as progressive techno with house influences. Others call it melodic techno as well that I believe describes well the content of both tracks. Admiral is really nice track with excellent progression that continuously introduces new themes and sounds to keep you interested on the dancefloor. Its the kind of track that you are obliged to dance when you hear it on the dancefloor or in your chair while you check it out on your headphones. Pushin is a totally different affair. Its darker, harder, techy and more adventurous with really interesting groove. It starts really rough but when the melodies start to appear you feel the difference. Its the right track to push everybody on the floor to start dancing and feeling the beauty of melodic spacey moody unconventional techno! Love iT
