Back with the sixth single off his upcoming album, We Are Lucky People, UK producer Lange has engineered a track that's guaranteed to let your imagination run wild.
"As I build the forthcoming album I'm trying to give each track a different edge, Lange said. The aim with 'Imagineer' was to create something a bit more underground; keeping it quite basic with high club impact. The title came quite early on, and that sparked the idea for the vocal sample which feel's right and fitting for the concept of the new album."
Imagineer takes you on a journey to the past through the mind of one of Trance's most established "music makers." Its crafty combination of sweeping synths, electric acid house riffs and refreshing melodies lead your imagination to the endless days of Ibiza summers. Already seeing support from Markus Schulz on GDJB, this retro feel-good track is guaranteed to keep one hand raised high from start to finish.
As his album's Fall release approaches, Lange has embarked on a new bi-weekly series called "Diary of a DJ" in association with EDMTunes, taking you through the process of the creation of "We Are Lucky People" and life on tour. Watch the introduction video via www.youtube.com/langetv
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most beloved and uber talented dj and producer in the EDM global scene is the brilliant Lange who never stops to impress with his incredible tracks that all of them are so unique and stand out. Imagineer aims to be old school progressive trancer and manage to succeed on it really well. Its great that retains the analogue warmth within the all digital era. Chunky groovy beats, energetic basslines and acid overtones to create mayhem on the dancefloor. The breakdown even reveals an old school vocal trance sample that will make some even cry with excitement. It is composed on a very danceable and evolving way. All the elements are progressing nicely forward by taking us on board for an energetic journey with ultimate highlight the full on and in your face acid trance climax. When you got the knowledge of the past you can invent the future and I feel that Lange knows that really well. Love iT
