Glideslope is back to Subtraxx with awesome three track EP. The first track "Unity" gives a gentle nod towards one of the best known finnish trance tracks of all time: Slusnik Luna - Sun. This isn't a recreation of the original, rather a show of appreciation. Glideslope introduces a big chord riff in the breakdown which drives the track all the way through the track. Pyramid is more towards classic trance, with it's classic melodies. The EP wouldn't be complete without Serenity, the summery trancer. Cue in acoustic guitars and long lead synths. Summer is here.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The awesome record label Subtraxx provides another superb production that you should not miss if you are at the look out for very strong melodies and euphoric magic moments. Glideslope from Finland has of course great talent for melodies and harmonies and he proves it on that really stand out EP. Unity is a magical dreamy proglifting trance track with unforgettable melodic themes running like crystal clear water on a river. Really floating and flowing production with energy and drive to keep you running for long. With influence from the classic The Sun, Glideslope moves one step further and he creates his own vision for the track. Pyramid is a totally different thing as it stays on the deep progressive trance sound wih house and even tech infusions. More minimal and very deep is very relaxing but very danceable at the same time. Playful with new ideas on board he takes us for a long journey nearly 9 minutes and there are many sounds and melodies to discover every time you take the challenge to follow the track all the the way to the Pyramid. Last but not least the second best track on the EP is the fantastic Serenity. Glideslope delivers a clean cut balearic trance track with very strong guitar riffs, psytrance elements, top percussion, warm strings and atmosphere that can only bring to your mind your best ever summer holidays and maybe best ever summer love adventure. Really sexy track tha will appeal to the late night party people. Quality package that you must taste. Love iT
