It’s been a big week for rising Dutch producer and modern day composer Eelke Kleijn. In rapid succession, the ‘man of mystery’ behind 538's Dance Smash ‘Ein Tag Am Strand’ finally put the track of the summer out to the world, and not least, aired his stunning video to accompany the vocal version, ‘Stand Up’, featuring Tres:Or. An original three and half minutes of rotating camera work around the perfect day at an Ibiza beach, this one will no doubt whet the appetite for its release on Spinnin’ (ROW) coming soon and 20th October for UK on (via 3 Beat). Described as a ‘an amazing tune’ and the ‘next hype’ by Huw Stephens it’s a track that screams sun and sea, bottling the last remaining weeks of Summer into an infectious carnival anthem. The video alongside serves as the perfect accompaniment, embodying the essence of the hit in a dizzying sun kissed malaise of a short film. Following our protagonists through a lazy poolside day into a night of partying, this eye grabbing music video manages the unlikely feet of being as catchy as the accompanying tune. No stranger to scoring great videos, Eelke recently produced the trailer soundtrack to Rush by Ron Howard. Diverse, unique and infectious, 2013 is showing Eelke to be an all round producer and of course, this wouldn’t be complete without his great live performances. Now as Stand Up will be played again on EDM festivals and crossover easily to the UK Top 40 and it deserves it 100%.
