REVIEW: Vicetone feat. Jonny Rose - Stars (Remixes) out on Trice! / Armada Music

1.Stars (Kevin Drew Remix)
2.Stars (Conro Remix)
3.Stars (Kill FM Remix)
4.Stars (Stan Serkin Remix)
5.Stars (Lodato Remix)

Given a warm welcome by the bloggers, clubbers and radio stations, is the first vocal release of Dutch talents Vicetone. After our first introduction to ‘Stars’, we’re now getting a treat of 6 new remixes of this monster hit!

The rising stars behind the unofficial remixes for the likes of Cazzette, Adele, Zedd, Maroon 5, Morgan Page and many more, have made their grand debut. Vicetone are well on their way up, and the remix pack of the ‘Stars’ smash will only speed things up!

Next to the blazing hot Conro remix, fusing electro and house, there’s also the deeper, more proggy interpretation of Stan Serkin.

Lodato fattens the bass, letting ‘Stars’ rush in completely.

Kill FM’s remix takes it all higher, providing a real floorkiller!

The talent of Kevin Drew brings a prog-house tune with a more than surprisin g break. Bronze Whale tops it off, completing a must-have set of mixes!

Six new ‘Stars’, highly contagious!

Dimitri Kechagias review: If you are looking to study the case of a record label that very soon manage to become well known in the EDM scene you should check out first the incredible  Trice Recordings. The newest Armada Music record label with so much success and with the finest releases, represents what is hot in the global house arena right here and now! One of the most unforgettable releases came from Vicetone featuring the incredible USA based singer/songwriter Jonny Rose called Stars.  It seems very wise decision to go for a remix package but this package is beyond our expectations. Not only one or two but five hot and spicey brand new versions to play during the summer in your favourite summer club and mainstage festival performances. First of all Kevin Drew Remix is an excellent hands in the air progressive house slammer that will bang you really hard with its firm and tight beats and basslines. Melodic breakdown and hair raising climax will keep you breathless dancing.  Second great remix is by Conro who twists around the main melody by adding a melancholic feel to it. Hard banging beats, raw ferocious basslines and the full vocal will certainly move and groove with hands in the air. Just imagine dancing along it while you observe the stars in the clear summer sky.  The well known Kill FM deliver their full on  electro house version packed with bouncy beats, slamming playful basslines, distorted squeezed sound effects and even some dubstep infusions as well. The breakdown is very melodic and sweet with just the chorus of the vocal and huge feel good synths. The climax is banging and rioting so here no holes barred. Stan Serkin Remix moves on the more driving side of melodic prog house meets trance style so I would not be surprised if even trance jocks play tha version as well. Very versatile version with epic hands in the air trancy synths in the breakdown and full on with touch of acid main part to get you on board for a surprising dark ride chasing the stars. Last but not least Lodato Remix starts with cool full vocal intro with epic synths, rock guitar riffs and euphoric build up but the main part is more chunky, groovy, dark,  spanky and playful. Its one of those versions that will surprise your crowd. Stars is our Lucky Star in our dj sets this summer. Love IT!
