REVIEW: Tonerush - Comet / Arpa out on Monster Tunes

Big room trance specialist Tonerush is back on Monster Tunes with a new powerful double header set to rock dancefloors on a global scale. After receiving 'Tune Of The Week' on Armin van Buuren's 'A State of Trance' radio show and gaining support across the board of his debut outing 'Gorilla Tour', George Kranas AKA Tonerush provides another dose of infectious groove filled trance!

Lead track 'Comet' is a chunky tech fuelled beast with a full throttle pounding rhythm and an anthemic main hook to boot! Second offering 'Arpa' is the perfect backup to the hands in the air flipside with a dark and driving backdrop revealing another killer melody!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top record label Monster Tunes  continues to be at the forefront of the club scene with stunning releases from artists coming from all over the world. The Greek Tonerush is a shinning example of self made artist who manage to build slowly his career and get the support of Armin van Buuren that is of course the biggest compliment and act of recognition for his ability to smash the big soundsystems. Now Tonerush right at the heart of the summer presents his two double trouble tracks that will become your favourite straight away. Comet is the first one and here we deal with a massive driving dark big room trancer that has the right dose of dynamism and energy that we are looking for to find on that type of tunes. It's full on, in your face and totally uncontrollable with stunning main synthy hook in the breakdown that is not euphoric or happy. It is rather gloomy and sinister on the well known style of djs like Markus Schultz. Arpa continues on the same mysterious and surprising pathway of big room dark gothic style trance with a nice melody that is epic without being the fluffy flirty style of theme. Agressive, raw and sparkling Tonerush deliver the goods in the finest possible way with his own personal and very unique style. Both sides (if it was printed on vinyl) are equally stunning and carry you away in their dreamworld that may turn into nightmare. Love IT!
