EVENT NEWS: First Speakers Announced for ADE Next 2013

With a line-up featuring Grammy-nominated producer, and BMI Award-winning songwriter Martin 'Cherry Cherry Boom Boom' Kierszenbaum, top song writers Allan Eshuijs and Chris Willis, hardcore hero Frontliner (photo), and “Father of the Midi” Dave Smith, you could quite reasonably refer to ADE Next as 'Super Saturday'.

Kierszenbaum is Chairman of Cherrytree Records and Sr. Executive of A&R for Interscope/Geffen/A&M, and he'll be sharing his vision and ideas about the relationship between dance and pop music, and reflecting on his years of working with LMFAO, Far East Movement and Ellie Goulding. If that doesn't impress you, Kierszenbaum is also widely credited as being central to the development of the international careers of Eminem, the Black Eyed Peas, Nelly Furtado and Gwen Stefani...BOOM!!!

Allan Eshuijs and Chris Willis are, let's be honest here, at the very top of the highest tree in the song writing forest, and just for you they'll be revealing everything there is to know about the art of writing hit records. Eshuijs and Willis have a reputation for the sort of craftsmanship that only years of experience brings, and even then it needs to be turbo-charged with exceptional musical talent, and they have plenty of both.

Hardstyle DJ and producer Frontliner may well be at 79 in the DJ Mag top 100, as well as being well known and widely loved for his album Producers' Mind (2011), but he remains very much ‘one of the guys’. He'll be appearing at ADE Next with a ton of advice for next-geneneration producers, including how to keep your feet on the ground when faced with the pressures and complications that success can bring.

If you haven't used a MIDI, you are, quite simply, not.in.the.game. The interface that everyone loves was invented by Dave Smith alongside revolutionary products such as the Tempest Drum Machine, the Prophet 08 and the Mopho monophonic synthesizer. Basically, Smith is to instrument design what James Dyson is to household devices, a true visionary who consistently innovates with products that are years ahead of their time. His inventions have changed, and continue to change the way we make music in the profoundest of ways.

Want some quality time with A&R experts from top record companies and music publishers? Demopitch features representatives from legendary house music label Defected (UK), alongside top Dutch operations Spinnin’ Records, Armada Music, and hardcore/gabber/industrial specialist The Third Movement.

It offers ADE Next visitors a unique chance to have a professional pay close attention to their work. And a chance to go 'mano a mano' with people who know the game inside out, and are able to offer you insight into how to improve your skills. In a 15 minute, one-on-one session with a professional who understands your genre, you get the opportunity to pitch and discuss your latest work, and hopefully leave the session better able to realise your dreams thanks to genuinely useful advice and feedback.
