1.Grid (Original Mix)
2.Identity (Original Mix)
Being able to stand out in the overflowing sea of EDM these days, is more than luck to upcoming producer Solid Stone. Following his strong Re*Brand debut, is the Cycles 4 approved ‘Identity’ and equally impressive ‘Grid’.
Elias Barouche has caught the right wind to surf. After getting his songs championed by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and of course Re*Brand owner Max Graham, his ‘Surge’ and ‘Torpor’ paved the way for more Solid Stone goodies to come.
And here they are. ‘Identity’ made a perfect addition to Graham’s Cycles 4 compilation, rocking it with its synth-loaded groove and a perfect mix of prog and trance. On ‘Grid’, Solid Stone shows to be more than capable of handling both styles, swinging from deep, proggy beats to a warm, melodic break. Let’s hope Re*Brand’s got many mor e Solid Stone’s on the menu.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Melodic progressive trance will always be the big crowds favourite style and you can taste it on your own if you drop one or maybe both the tracks included on the brand new EP by the very talented Solid Stone. Elias aka Solid Stone has proved himself and he delivers constantly quality by staying faithful to the sound he seems more comfortable to produce and master his skills on it. As it seems this sound is the favourite of the legend Max Graham who is responsible for the top record label Re*Brand. The latest Solid Stone EP includes two quite different tracks that moves on the same deep progressive trance style. Grid is a beautiful melodic blissful progressive trancer with nice development of the various soundlayers, excellent drum programming, chopped female voices, atmospheric breakdown to cool your senses and here we go again to the uplifting climax. The real deal for the more mainstage type of performances is Identity. On this one Solid Stone merges the deep trademark sound with big room techy elements that explode out of proportion in the fantastic breakdown when he unleashes the incredible big room distorted synthy lead to raise the roofs and smash some weak soundsystems. When the beat drops the climax comes thick and fast so expect the unexpected. Two stunning productions that worth to get the Re*Brand seal of approval. Love IT!
