‘The Awakening’ was the first big hit of German producer Torsten Stenzel, better known as York. In 1998, it rocked the underground clubs as well as selling silver - more than 200.000 singles - in the UK. Special about this one is, that it was the most sold single in the UK that didn’t reach the Top 10. But that didn’t make it any less successful!
‘The Awakening’ has been played thousands of times during sunset & sunrise on magical beaches, from Ibiza to Miami. And it will, once again! The 2013 version brings us its Balearic spirit, from the warm vocals to the lush melody, summer guitar and proggy, tempting beats.
