Entering the scene with his outstanding debut single for the In Trance We Trust label is the U.K. based Jace Williams, including a remix by Claudia Cazacu.
Jace Williams is a DJ/producer and promoter from South Wales. After his first steps in U.K. hardcore he made the transition to the sounds of hard house and hard trance, gradually moving to trance music; heavily inspired by Judge Jules, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Orjan Nilsen, Ben Gold, Jordan Suckley, John O'Callaghan, Claudia Cazacu, 4 Strings, Signum and Rank1. Jace started DJing at the age of 20, initially rocking crowds throughout Wales and the clubbing capital of the world Ibiza. After winning a DJ competition in Ibiza in 2009, Jace was given a residency by Ibiza Live that also led to gigs at Eden, Es Paradis, Hush, Play 2, Kanya Sunset Bar and, later on, Ministry of Sound London and Escape in Swansea. Jace is currently into his third year as resident for Ibiza Live and spends all his quality time in the studio working on new productions including the debut that he presents here today on In Trance We Trust, titled "Hope & Pray".
Jace Williams couldn’t have dropped a better debut on In Trance We Trust than his new “Hope & Pray”. Working his way around a huge sounding arrangement and mesmerizing, edited vocal patches with a nod and a wink to the famous ‘93 Returning Mix’ of the Holden & Thompson classic “Nothing”, the track develops as a true trance anthem featuring a break that leads to a monumental climax with huge synths. Claudia Cazacu reworked the original into an almost rave-esque smash for the rougher live sets. Killer hit single.
Dimitri Kechagias review: In Trance We Trust is the most recognised trance label all over the world with many great classics in its back catalogue. Now the label welcomes the new talent from UK Jace Williams who seems to be one of the biggest hopes for the future of the global trance scene. His track is called Hope and Pray and is definitely a track that radiates energy, positive vibes and hope as well. Its full on euphoric trancer with great mesmerising breakdown with chopped and distorted vocal samples that are used more as another instrument rather than saying something meaningful. His main part is breath taking with full on hard kicking and smashing beats, driving basslines and huge euphoric synths on top to bring the ultimate euphoria on the dancefloor. It will recall classy productions by artists like Rank 1 & Signum so Jace is knowledgeable of the past, present and future of trance and he seems to have read his lesson well to keep his trance customers satisfied. Its so well produced and effective that can only become one of the hottest trance release of this year so far. On remix duties the Romanian star Claudia Cazacu goes deep underground and she transforms the original into a darker techier rougher dirty trancer perfect for the more aggressive tech trance friendly floors. Particularly the breakdown with the huge rave style synthy lead is destined to cause hysteria on the dancefloor and wake up memories from the past. Highly recommended. Love iT!
