FEATURE: Andy Duguid - After Dark Sessions 100 out on Black Hole recordings

Only if you lived under a rock for the last six years you wouldn't know that Andy Duguid entered the scene in 2007 with "Hypocrisy". And once "Don't Belong" had reaped the support of the world's top DJs that same year, the name Andy Duguid had been established. As the host of his After Dark Sessions podcast, Andy now ceases the opportunity to celebrate the 100th episode of his radio show with the release of his second mix compilation in succession after his first "Miracle Moments", suitably titled "After Dark Sessions 100".

Andy's success picked up speed after "Don't Belong". Once he came up with "Wasted", superstar DJ and producer Tiësto not only added both releases to In Search of Sunrise 6 and 7, but also offered the Scotsman a contract on Black Hole. The artist album "Believe" was released shortly after, eventually followed by Andy's first ever, double disc mix compilation "Miracle Moments". Nowadays working the hectic schedule of an in-demand producer, remixer and DJ, Andy still faithfully delivers his weekly, carefully assembled episodes for the After Dark Sessions podcasts. A moment away from the artist rat race and a source of the best brand new tracks that Andy deems outstanding enough to present them to his fans.

If there's any release that could stand for the quality of Andy's radio show and his ear for music, then "After Dark Sessions 100" is the mix compilation of choice. The digital only release covers 25 tracks and two full length DJ mixes of all cuts and totals close to five hours of brilliant electronic dance music. Besides titles by Andy himself such as "I Want To Believe" featuring Shannon Hurley and the upcoming single "Skin & Bones" with Julie Thompson, the release also features floorfillers like "Go!" by Beltek, "Turn Up The Sound" (tyDi Remix) by Beltek, First State's "Seeing Stars" featuring Sarah Howells and 20 other smashes. Certainly a mix compilation to live up a private party late at night, "After Dark Sessions 100" is definitely one to own.
