1-Original mix
2-Maarten De Jong remix
Steve Nyman made his debut on tool records with the smasher "Timebandit", which saw alot of support from djs around the globe. With his follow up single, "The last one out", he yet again proves that both the hard and soft sides of electronic music suit him just fine. Pairing an edgy bassline- and groove driven builtup with a melodic break, "the last one out" recommends itself as pure peak time material.
The talented dutchman Maarten de Jong graces us for the third time with his remixwork. Taking a little more subtle approach with cleverly arranged rolling basses and percussions, the track builds up a perfect flow while gliding into the melodic break, only to surprise you with a hard-hitting mainpart that will keep your feets in motion.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The top trance record label from Switzerland Tool records is on great shape and delivers one ultra large club trancer after the other. Now its time for Steve Nyman to deliver his solo outing The Last One. The Original mix is a super tight and solid electro prog trancer meets tech trance anthem. Techy mechanical beats, energetic driving basslines, blissful melodic breakdown and full on in your face euphoric climax to drive any clubber wild and utterly mad on the dancefloor. Its club bomb without second thought that explodes in the massive climax. On remix duties is the quickly rising Maarten de Jong. He transforms the original closer to his idea of how progressive trance should sound. His remix for the The Last One is tougher, harder with raw wonky basslines, pumping and jumping beats and great melodic content in the main breakdown. He raises to the surface his excellent distorted rave style synthy lead that will make you go bonkers for sure. Particularly when the beat kicks back to drive us in his freaking euphoric climax that is finest crescendo moment that any producer could give to this future classic trance anthem. Two adrenaline chargers in one package. Love iT
