REVIEW: Peking Duk - The Way You Are incl official music video on 3 Beat

Australian duo Peking Duk are about to shower the UK in sunshine with their debut single "The Way You Are". The track is a serious summer banger with a hot vocal sample hook and guitar-line that builds and drops with crazy energy.

The official remix package is bursting with flavour and features offerings from DCUP, Hostage, The Phantom's Revenge, Ryan Blyth & SBS and Californian electronic duo Norin & Rad.

"The Way You Are" spent six weeks on the ARIA club chart in Australia. It's also won high profile support from the likes of A-Trak - who dropped it to a rapturous crowd at the recent Future Music Festival in Melbourne - Laidback Luke and Don Diablo.

Renowned for blending their gritty party flavour with anthemic indie-disco, Peking Duk were voted number 6 in the 'In The Mix Top 50' Australian DJ Poll. Championed by the likes of Tiesto and Steve Aoki and respected across the dance spectrum these stars of the studio are equally at home on stage - they just got back from touring the U.S. and are all set to support Example on his Australian tour in May.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The highly successful Liverpool based record label 3Beat brings some Australian vibes on the European dancefloors. The excellent and highly addictive track The Way You Are by the Australian project Peking Duk is ready to blow the club speakers and climb high on the UK Top 40. The original mix is a great hybrid of retro house vibes from the rave 90's days with catchy distorted vocal sample and some rougher nu rave parts for mainstage performances. The remix package is the coolest that you can get for a record that will welcome you to the summer vibes. DCUP remix is a deep tech house retro acid 90's style version that seems to be the ultimate new trend at the moment. It makes the track to sound like being produced in basement with just the needed analogue gear. The Phantoms Revenge is pure nu funk acid house version with crazy dj style effects to keep the dancefloor vibing and pumping along. It smells like sunbath oil to me already when i hear it. Ryan Blyth & SBS remix continues on the deep retro house style with some euphoric synths and additional guitar riffs and then drops to a cool speed garage style sequence to wiggle it. Hostage remix  is a cool electronica style version with tribalish skippy beats and cool 90's organ riffs. Last but not least my absolute favourite is the Norin & Rad remix. The so clever USA duo smash it and recreates it into a huge epic prog house meets trance euphoria style version ready made for peak time performance at the main stage. You like it raw and aggressive Norin & Rad got it for you. Love iT!
