Emilio Fernandez entered the scene in 2008 with the single “Reynosa”. The track hit big time and shot to the top of the charts in no time. And with the initially released original version of “Closer To Me” the duo once again shows that it is perfectly possible to create something unique within the realm of vocal trance, however expanding the sound with state of the art, more techy elements. Dimitri Kechagias review: The original version of Closer by Emilio Fernandez featuring Jones is definitely one of the first big floor smashers for Spring 2013. Its quite minimal but so groovy and cheerful that is hard to resist and not start dancing along with it. The remix package is the finest you can get for prime time attack on your dancefloors. First of all the big stars of Black Hole JQA & Manufactured Superstars team up to deliver a very huge remix that combines tribal progressive house beats with big epic synths and those stand out vocals by Jones. The top and quickly rising Dutch star Marc MacRowland smashes the soundsystem and delivers a very different sounding version. Bouncy electro chunky distorted and squeezed beats and rough cracked basslines with cool atmospheric breakdown to cool down for a while and then all the way to the top once again. On board is Toby Traxx who bombards the dancefloor with the finest version on the package. Very tough thundering basslines, jumping hard as nails beats, the cool Jump vocal sample and even little synths too. The breakdown really large with melodramatic strings, epic euphoric synths, huge build up to tease you till the last second and then when the beat drops its hard to describe it cause I'm too excited with it. ULTRA LARGE so don't miss it! Lastly Oliver Rosa Remix is moving on the same electro house meets dirty dutch with nu rave ingredients too. Raw, dirty, naughty and sexy beats and basslines will electrify your body and arouse your senses. Breakdown to die for with violins and plenty of drama while the big climax will bounce you hard.
