Setrise a.k.a. Melle Bakker is the young DJ/producer who entered the scene at age 17. With his productions, DJ sets, his own label called Sunset To Sunrise Recordings and a globally enjoyed radio show, he managed to secure the support of Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Ferry Corsten and many others. Even Benny Benassi requested him to remix his club and chart classic "Satisfaction", a re-work that Paul van Dyk hugely supported for months. His official remix of the legendary "Kernkraft 400" was one of the biggest tracks around, with Armin van Buuren naming it a favourite track in his sets. Setrise has since then played alongside Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz and other top names. Melle likes to move between house, electro, progressive, tech trance and uplifting pure trance, a style that made his fame. After spending less time on music to work on his 2012 university degree, Setrise finally managed to revisit the studio with fellow DJ/producer Johann Stone (Reykjavik, Iceland) for the brand new "MNE".
Setrise and Johann Stone have created the perfect cut for late night sets at the world's ruling events. A towering arrangement with plenty of deep synths an strings and a break with a few subtle references to classic trance smashes. The remix package features three brilliant, state of the art renditions of the original. Self respecting DJs know enough: this is one for the top play lists.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The brilliant talent Setrise is back on top form with a huge release that is heavily influenced from the classic trance sound so definitely deserves to get an outing on the most famous trance record label in the world In Trance We Trust. He combines his creative forces with Johann Stone and delivers an atmospheric driving trancer that is clear and pure as the water. Its main strength is the very strong melodic theme that will bring you memories in your mind for sure. Its one of those tracks that you drop it and you dont worry for the reactions as those are easy to predict. The package is heavily backed up with remixes that will lift the original even higher. Michael C transforms the original into a superb big room progressive trance banger that changes the pace and tone of the original classic trance sounding theme into a punchy driving energetic club cracker. The Russian superstar Dj Feel is on board as well and he does his magic tricks and he twists and turns the original into a fat club shaker with distorted electro kissed basslines, driving energetic hi nrg synthy riffs and groovy prog trance beats. The result is a peak time monster size anthem with the signature of Dj Feel that never fails to impress. The Polish talent Chris de Seed put his hands on the original and delivers a heads down tech trance make over with tough dark minimal drum beats and deep basslines. The breakdown will surprise many as reveals the huge hair raising epic synths to blow your mind and send the clubbers in a higher plane as nobody will expect something so large to take over the control. There is a big hands in the air section and then carries on with that minimal dirty groovy tech trance sound. Great package that any taste in modern trance is catered for.
