Paul Thomas presents new remixes of his single “Motivation” on the Magik Muzik imprint. The vocals are performed by Ladystation.
Paul Thomas made his fame with a residency at Birmingham’s Godskitchen and their globally-syndicated Global Gathering festivals half a decade back. Global tours became his daily life, while in the meantime he mixed applauded compilations for Toolroom Records’ burgeoning Leaders Of The New School imprint. Ever since, Paul has consistently released singles on Steve Angello’s SIZE Records, Positiva, Data, Toolroom Records, Doorn Records, Sander Kleinenberg’s Little Mountain Recordings and made remixes for legends like Basement Jaxx, Chicane, Underworld, Josh Wink, D Ramirez & Mark Knight, Sebastien Leger, Deadmau5 and many, many more.
The original version of "Motivation" became one of this summer’s hottest vocal tracks, combining the vocal talents of Samantha Powell and Carmit Bacher as Ladystation. With the state of the art remixes by Kris O'Neil, Max Freegrant and Kash Trivedi, all DJs will be able to bring the hot summer madness back to the wintery dance floors one more time!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Paul Thomas is a highly respected dj and producer who manage very easily to win the hearts of the progressive house and progressive trance djs alike because of the great balance between house grooves and trancy melodic riffs. His summer anthem Motivation had the needed drive and energy to bring real hysteria on the dancefloor and give the nice and naughty girls the chance to identify with it and sing a long with the excellent vocals by Ladystation who simply add to the track much more depth, meaning and the needed poppy touch too. The brand new package of remixes extends its magic even more making it the perfect anthem for the Christmas/ New Year's Eve sets. First of all Kris O'Niel provides a brilliant progressive trance translation that will speak to the heart of any prog trance lover out there. Full on and euphoric with the great vocals and additional synths offering the needed boost to turn it into a massive hands in the air monster. Max Freegrant from Ukraine delivers the chunky techy progressive version that is melodic, touching and very hypnotic as well. If you want a more underground sound version Max has it for you in truly MAXimum sound. Lastly Kass Trivedi from India adds meaty tribal drums and big room epic synths in the breakdown for an 8 plus minutes music odyssey version that is truly versatile and easy to play in trance or prog house sets. Very intriguing version that is unpredictable and effective on the dancefloor. Top stuff! Love iT!
