The quintessential psychedelic trance band Federation are back with one of their hottest studio productions to date, as debuted and road tested during their live show at Slinky’s 15th birthday in Bournemouth.
“Quiero” is a packed with pace, punch and precise programming. It’s a peak time acid frenzy just how we like it!
There was only ever going to be one person right for the remix job on this release, and that is Future Disciple. An incredible talent and a HUGE favourite in the Perfecto Records office (Paul Oakenfold included 3 or 4 of his productions on his recent Four Seasons compilation release!!) we were more than wet with excitement when he obliged to rework this record. Pumping bass, beats and his trademarks ethnic samples makes this an unforgettable storming track!
When translated from Spanish the title means “I want”.
Well – we want too. More Federation, more 303 acid and more trance the Goa-way!

Dimitri Kechagias review: We were expecting with great anticipation the return of the fantastic project Federation that unites the talents of Rich Mowatt and Ben Lost. They are back and yes they are here to bang it hard and rough. Quiero is their new chapter in their ongoing history of high quality psy trance infused style as their style is not strictly psy trance. It combines elements of UK Trance, Rock and uplifting euphoric trance into one very explosive and lethal package. Ben Lost is amazing singer and his voice add that rioting unconventional way of looking at things. If you feel down, depressed and isolated press play and let the Federation boys take you for a wild ride to feel immediately up and flying, impressed, uplifted and rocking it along with thousand others cause their music has that atmosphere of watching the band Live. Future Disciple who is on the rise at the moment delivers the stunning progressive trance take on the original that is solid, energetic to the maximum dose, with excellent live like percussion, ethnic style melodies to travel your mind to the Middle East. Great long atmospheric breakdown keeps the pace and calms things a bit along with the cool vocal and then when the beat strikes back you will feel the ultimate urge to run on the dancefloor and let any prohibitions, fears, anxieties and release to relive yourself along with thousands of others who dance along with you with big wide smile on their faces. Future Disciple remix is epic, cinematic and very danceable so expect to hear it this Christmas and New Years Eve. Have a Fluorescent Holiday. Love iT!
