Alex Villanueva brings his Goodfellas together for one superb package of remixes.. with so many quality that we have had to split the release over 2 installments.
This first package includes the Nikko Z, Bastards of Funk & Sonic Union, Beat Syndrome & Marc Pollen remixes
Nikko Z does his thing, with a pulsating bass popping chunky ass mix, seriously THE filthiest basslines we have had through the doors this year!

While the Bastards of Funk & Sonic Union give us a smooth jumpy mix, with skippy percs & some sweet keys pushing the mix forwards
Beat Syndrome take a deeper route, with dark beats & bass combining around minimal synth hooks and layers of pads evolving
Finally Marc Pollen provides a tougher techno mix, with industrial drums, fat filtered bass & minimal use of melody & vocal hooks , making for a heads down number!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Progressive House Music equals Baroque records and the label with the loud and influential voice in the EDM scene provides an excellent release with wide variety of styles and sounds. Nikko Z offers his warm tribal chunky beats, spacey cinematic melodies and squeezed and echoed vocals. Its one of those tracks that can light up the dancefloor for sure with some psy trance/ethnic eastern vibes/influences too. Bastards of Funk and Sonic Union service the quality melodic bouncy progressive house sound with awesome summery melody and that dark haunting sound at the background to give that underground feel to it. Progressive house as it should be in my opinion. Beat Syndrome stay faithful in the deep mysterious atmosphere and go for bubbly beats, deep basslines and some chopped vocals here and there. Full of exciting grooves and spicy flavours its the kind of remix that can crossover to prog house and trance sets too. Lastly Marc Pollen gives his progressive techno translation that is travelling, spacey with cinematic melodies, some vocodered vocals and great percussion. Hypnotic and sensual for sure that prog house boys will like too. Love iT!
