REVIEW: Manni - Space Homeless on Baroque Limited

Straight outta Sao paulo, we bring the Brazilian sounds of Manni...

Getting started with 'Space Homeless' a deep spacey vibe of a track, with sultry beats, stuttering synths, and retro disco chords working their way around this one.

Palikir is a more uptempo number, with a big drum led groove, some twisted synths , which again have a nod to the disco & soul sounds., while acid undertones and dirty pianos lift the whole thing again.. our personal fave here!

and finally Vland Tech, straight up deep techno.. shuffling percussive elements, fat funky bass work around layers of gliding pads and pinchy synth hooks. fat loud and simply massive!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Baroque Limited goes deeper for an excellent EP that has the warmth of a Brazilian sunny beach for sure. Manni offers 3 great tracks and showcases his ability to move, groove, shake and hypnotise too. With influences from many different styles and sounds is certainly a free floating sound experience that will win your admiration and passion for EDM. Space Homeless is the deeper sister of the 3 with minimal beats and deep basslines with great little melodies here and there and the great long breakdown to lost yourself in it without second thoughts. Palikir is the more upfront and naughty sister with great percussion, feel good rhythm and weird noises and  effects creating the perfect soundbed to lead us on that monster size breakdown that the big star is  this strange piano melody. The climax will push everybody into frenzy with its great latin infused rhythm. Lastly Vland Tech, the third sister is the more unconventional and open to different readings track. Its  another cool hybrid of prog, tech and house into one big melting pot. Nice Brazilian flavours with global appeal. Love iT!
