One of the many colourful highlights of Paul van Dyk’s much appraised ‘EVOLUTION’ album, is the happy-go-lucky tune of ‘Eternity’. In collaboration with the crazy talented singer/songwriter Adam Young, van Dyk gave sound to feel-good. And it sure did. Reflecting upon a successful year, Paul now invited no less than 9 producers of the full EDM spectrum, providing new interpretations of the masterpiece that is ‘Eternity’!

A permanent fixture in the sets of the German pioneer, ‘Eternity’ always unlocks a vibrant wave in the crowd it meets. 9 months after it first hit in, 9 producers have their way with it. Being one of the frontrunners of an open mind-set, Paul van Dyk gave carte blanche to the talents he invited to remix. And the results are smashing.

For the trance junkies amongst us, there’s the remix of UK producer Gary Proud, shooting straight to uplifting heights, or the synth-driven monster provided by Johan Malmgren. VANDIT protégé Guiseppe Ottaviani loads ‘Eternity’ with one big chunk of trance energy, whereas Paul van Dyk himself interacts with the playful, chunky sound of Alex M.O.R.P.H. on their collaborative remix.

Undoubtedly the hottest Swedish duo of the moment, Qulinez beat ‘Eternity’ with an absolute festival-fit prog-house interpretation. Solid, deep prog-house with a dark touch can be found on the Riley & Durrant remix, and Austin Leeds explains the meaning of proper big-room. For the peak-time hours, the Siege remix of ‘Eternity’ lights up the room with full-on electro-house.

Last but definitely not least, this package includes the brilliant breaks and dubstep sound of Brian Brainstorm & Psylocyber, giving ‘Eternity’ its final kick towards longevity.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The EDM legend, pioneer and outstanding artist Paul van Dyk service to the world a magnificent remixes EP on his warmhearted hopeful and very optimistic anthem Eternity featuring Adam Young who seems to have the right voice for great club tracks like Eternity. Adam has worked with Armin van Buuren too for his track Youtopia. Not one but 9 fantastic remixes will change your perception of this top track from the well known and successful original album mix that has great success on many radio stations worldwide. First of all Paul van Dyk teams up with the brilliant  Alex M.O.R.P.H. to deliver a stunning big room trance meets epic prog house remix with big synthy stabs, energetic basslines and big doses of adrenaline too. The two masterminds of EDM will surprise you so better press play straight away. Gary Proud transforms the track into a high class full on straight to the point UK trance style anthem with the typical VANDIT style synths and hands in the air climax with some acid tones too. Austin Leeds that was magnificent at Paul van Dyk's dj set at Melkweg during ADE provides a spanking sparkling progressive house slammer with wonky basslines, tough rocking beats and the huge synths and vocals in the breakdown.  His climax is so powerful that will be very appreciated from djs like Hardwell or Axwell who like it rough and dirty. Brian Brainstorm & Psylocyber provide a very filmic and highly complex and pleasurable dubstep version that is travelling and inspiring as we like it to be! The always smiling Italian producer Giuseppe Ottaviani adds his remix abilities after his very successful remix on the previous PVD single I Don't Deserve you and guess what? Giuseppe manage once again to impress us all and transforms the original into a feel good euphoric trancer of the highest quality with the right and exact vocals on top. If you ask what is proper trance check his remix. I'm dancing while I'm writing this lines, so I can not resist it.  Johan Malmgren is on board as well and he goes for his established deep proglifting sound that is blissful, colorful, dreamy and so energetic too with bubbly tribalish beats, electronic layers of melody, electro kissed basslines, huge synthy stabs  and the great vocals on top. Riley & Durrant well known for many years in the EDM scene provide the deep prog house meets trance  alternative remix that is chunky, pumping, playful and balearic too. It comes straight from Ibiza beaches to your living room. Qulinez adds the current trendy sound of the epic prog house on the Swedish house tip. Massive synths unleashed on the breakdown to lead the proceedings on the rough edged crunchy hands in the air climax that will give you the impression that you live for Eternity. Last but not least for the friends of quality mainstage/big room epic prog house meets electro house sound the Belgian superstar Siege provides a really strong alternative with melancholic twist in the very epic melodic theme with extra rough and sharp booming basslines. 9 high class mixes for another Paul van Dyk classic. LOVE IT!!!
