REVIEW: Dan Stone - Drive incl Stoneface & Terminal remix on Tool Trance

1-Original mix
2-Stoneface & Terminal remix

UK based trance wizard Dan Stone needs no introduction. After numerous releases and remixes on Anjunabeats he quickly established himself as the go-to guy if you are looking for high quality and uplifting trance bliss - a reputation he underlined previously with two brilliant remixes on Tool Records as well. Therefore, we are very proud to announce his debut single on our imprint called Drive.

As the name indicates this track takes you on a groovy ride. Fueled by a rocking bassline and tight percussion work the journey will take you through atmospheric soundscapes and find its highlight in a floating piano break that transports you further to a big room climax that is both dreamy and - you guessed it – driving!

But the icing on the cake is yet to come - and not many words need to be lost when you read Stoneface & Terminal as responsible for the remix duties. The well-known dynamic duo from Germany deliver one of their ourstanding remixes yet again. They lifting the already brilliant original to perfection with their highly transparent and pounding sound.

This release has written quality all over it so choose your favorite mix and put some smiles on the faces of your audience.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Tool Trance is for sure one of the most successful and accountable labels in the global trance scene at the moment. The brand new release is coming by the safe hands of the UK trance wizard Dan Stone who deliver the massive Drive and gets the full support of Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above and Beyond amongst others. Drive is a powerful energetic club trance bomb that starts all dirty and glitzy groovy tech trance but very soon the feel good melodies, the warm strings and ethereal vocals are added to create the heavenly atmosphere. His climax is massive with pumping driving beats and basslines and euphoric synthy stabs along with sweet piano melody as topping to travel our spirits away. This is neo-futuristic trance at its very finest. On board are the superb Stoneface & Terminal who once again surprise us  with their ability to transform anything they get in their hands into a stunning big room club trance anthem. Their version is full on straight to the point with dynamic basslines, beats to die for and sweet melodic layers at the top.  Their breakdown is larger than life with exceptional synthy work that will recall the great synthesizer classics for sure. The final part is epic, uplifting and euphoric without experimentation and sound gimmicks. Pure undiluted Trance for those who appreciate melodic progression and solid compositions. High Class Trance. Love IT!
