Avis Vox presents her third “Loolacoma” Single „Cold Violete Skies“ - after the release of her fantastic debut album “Animam” early this year.
The release contains three mixes:
The A*S*Y*S remix took tribute to the overall mystic vibe of the original song, but transformed it into a pounding club tune with a gritty “vowel” electro bassline and a 303 Acid stormer after the mainbreak.
The “IIIII” remix pushes the song deep into a “dreamworld” and impresses with vibes you might have heard before from acts like “Burial” or “Massive Attack”, a true pearl to dive deep into the soul of abstract ambient.
With the original version “Loolacoma” once more shows her outstanding talent to produce, sing and to write a song on an extraordinary level. E-Piano Chords and a sensual voice are leading through the song, nicely supported by crispy trip hop beats. The lyrics are perfectly performed in an (typical Loolacoma) expressive manner: “This song is about a vision after the “Day of Doom” and a man who survived. He is watching around and the song is about what he is seeing and the moment when he met God.”

Dimitri Kechagias review: The brilliant Avis Vox returns with her fantastic project Loolacoma and her brand new single called Cold Violet Skies. Once again she is determined to transfer our souls and senses to her own dimension that trip hop beats, percussion, warm strings and sound effects can create the perfect soundbed for the magical mesmerizing voice to inhabit. It starts with ambient lounge intro and then moves on to a trip hop main section that is cinematic, absorbing and absolutely inspiring. Avis stands out once again with her expressive and sensitive performance. For the big rooms the top project A*S*Y*S returns with a banging and shaking tough big room trance version with acid overtones and manic raw basslines. Surprisingly Avis voice sounds great within this harder and full on peak time sound environment. Lastly IIIII Remix moves on the same pathway as the original with a chilly trip hop/lounge style that is colourful, insightful with great depth of sound textures. Highly recommended release. Love iT!
