REVIEW: Husman - E.D.M. & Memories Of You out on Mainstage/Armada Music

1.E.D.M. (Original Mix)
2.Memories Of You (Original Mix)

With a keen ear for new talent, W&W welcome back the promising sounds of Dutch producer Husman. On Mainstage Music, he kicks in two new favourites: ‘E.D.M.’ and ‘Memories of You’.

Nick Housmans left quite an impression with his grand debut, ‘P.O.W.’ and ‘Breakdown’. And he makes sure to keep it grand, providing a worthy follow-up E.P.. The young talent embraces diversity, awaking the beats of prog, trance, but also rocking things out with  a taste of electro and break-beat. Enjoy the feel-good ‘E.D.M.’ and warm but pounding ‘Memories of You’, both featured on W&W’s ‘Mainstage 2012 Vol.1’ compilation!

Dimitri Kechagias review:   Husman is such a great talent that whenever I see his name in any release I know that something good has cooked for us in his kitchen to satisfy our endless hunger for meaty beats and crunchy basslines. First of all is the excellent EDM. Its quite difficult to put it under certain category as it embodies wide variety of influences from epic prog house to nu rave or tech trance to uplifting trance. Tough and rocking basslines with demanding slamming beats and very strong and memorable theme in the breakdown. His big climax is larger than life really euphoric and powerful to its limits. The same high quality values you can find on the equally banging Memories of You. It starts with wonky basslines and tribal style beats that is quite rough, aggressive and funky too. The breakdown will calm you down with a very romantic and melancholic melodic theme too. The same theme is transformed into a hands in the air epic rave style riff that leads the track simply without too much compilations to the feel good, jump and dance climax. Husman is an investment for the future of good trance. Love iT!
