REVIEW: Ralphie B - Face Off & The Holy Grail out on Captivating Sounds/Armada Music

1.Face Off (Original Mix)
2.The Holy Grail (Original Mix)

Though he’s proven to be a gifted producer in trance and progressive, Ralphie B is not the type to rest on his laurels. A decade after his classic ‘Massive’, the Dutchman gives us some new ear candy, rushing in are ‘The Holy Grail’ & ‘Face Off’.

Ralphie B has ever kept the quality high up, remaining faithful to his very own, typical trance sound. Riding energy, power and bursting with melodic strength, is the follow-up E.P. to ‘Icarus’, ‘Bullfrog’ and ‘Delphi’. ‘The Holy Grail’ and ‘Face Off’ both give you a taste of tech, without losing the ever so gentle details that trance is known for.

Dimitri Kechagias review:   Captivating Sounds imprint is all about the sounds that are unique, different and capture the human emotions and captivate the listener. Exactly this is what is served with these two fantastic club burners by Ralphie B one of the finest trance producers who delivers quality anthems that stand out and pass the test of time with the tough label of  trance classics. Face Off is a superb uplifting trancer that moves on the pathway of progressive trance with tribal bubbly beats and energetic basslines. Fantastic melodic theme is revealed on the cinematic breakdown and breaks style sequence follows to build even further the excitement and drive the track towards its hands in the air crescendo moment. Big room trancer with even some psy-trance references too. The second bombastic fantastic anthem is Holly Grail. Ralphie presents a massive full on fast and furius trancer that glows in the dark and has big room tech trance elements merged with a very romantic twinkle style melody in the breakdown that is replaced then with a huge distorted rave style synthy riff that recalls Armin's Gaia latest tracks. Both tracks are dreamy, tripping but packed with feel good rhythm and relentless build up of new sound layers that keep you wondering what comes next. This is what I call the future of Trance!Love iT!
