Seamless Deep returns with a superb EP from Andy Lee. Better known in his previous life as Central Avenue as a soulful house producer, like many other producers has been seduced by the classic house/deep house sound which is taking the dance scene by storm. Andy Lee is also responsible for about 40% of the Loopmasters Sample packs, used by so many producers (no doubt a few that have had big commercial success), so it's fair to say he knows his way round the studio and his sounds are unique and what people want.
For his first solo EP on Seamless Deep, he delivers an A and B side (with instrumental) although it's hard to say which is which but for certain these are right on the money as far as deep house/nu-house is concerned. The first track 'What About Us', with pitched down vocals filtered moog saw bass sounds, is very much the classic house sound of deep house 2012. This comes with a instrumental dub, removing the vocal but replacing with some extra synths sounds.
Part 2 of the EP, 'Spin Around', again uses the pitched down , treated vocal whilst keeping the beats bouncy , working in tandem with the bass-line. To finish it off Andy adds a synth chord line to keep that underground feel....

There is a dub version without the distorted strange and distant vocal. Spin Around is a funky chunky tech house affair that tends to be more techno and less house. Cool whispering style vocal and electro style synthy riff that adds latin touch to it. If you like the deep and dark flavours you must got this EP! Love iT!
