REVIEW: Rebels Without A Cause - Compuphonic on Planet Love

1.Compuphonic (Club Mix)
2.Compuphonic (Radio Mix)

Keeping up with the high tide of the prog-house movement, is the Rebels Without A Cause project. Following their ‘Red Violin’ collab with York, is their feel-good prog tune of ‘Compuphonic’!

Mario Hammer and Andrew Bennett do it again. Who doesn’t remember their smasher ‘Language’ from back in the days, certainly needs to study some classics. The German producers now go for a different flavor.

The rough, high velocity type of prog-house is exactly what drives ‘Compuphonic’. A tight, warm tune that makes it impossible to stand still.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The superb beloved and legendary label of Planet Love records headed by Torsten Stenzel returns with another high quality release that will be appreciated by many fans of progressive music indifferent if its  house or trance.Rebels Without A Cause write again history in the EDM book with a driving energetic progressive bomber recalling Giorgio Moroder style  that relentlessly build up its various sound layers until to land on the breakdown that something really special is going to happen. A distorted early computer type of synthy riff will be revealed to bring the needed excitement and play the role of the surprise element to turn many heads towards the dj and wonder what is going on and if possible to tell them the title of it. Compuphonic can be seen as a tribute to the old school electronic music sound that was composed with the first computers like Atari. Show your Love on Planet Love records. Love iT!
