Rosie Romero presents her new single "Close Your Eyes" together with Ben Malone on the Songbird imprint. The vocals are performed by Taya.
DJ Rosie Romero was still very young when she found her love for making music. She developed her piano skills based on classical composition and made it to grade 6 by the time she hit high school. Her status was finally established after she remixed Zoo Brazil's track "You Can Have It All" for the Magik Muzik imprint; all thanks to a request from Zoo Brazil himself.
Rosie’s sound can be described as Grooving Jackin' Techno, with elements of Progressive and Tech House resulting in the "The Romero Sound". For this new release entitled "Close Your Eyes", she once again teams up with Ben Malone, as was the case with her previous single "Back Up Again". Ben Malone got his first break when world famous DJ/Producer Sonny Wharton chose Ben's single "O.C.D." as the opening track for his "Exploring UK" mix compilation. Ben's 2011 remix of "Afterhours" by Ant Brooks finally put his name on the world map.
Rosie and Ben managed to create a fresh and uplifting trance single with subtle, but enticing house ingredients. Taya's vocals are the icing on the cake and turn "Close Your Eyes" into a pre-summer hit.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Songbird is a magnificent record label with open minded policy with releases ranging from deep progressive house to melodic trance. The latest release is the solid collaboration between Rosie Romero and Ben Malone entitled Close Your Eyes with the touching vocals by Taya. If you check it out once I'm sure that the first mental image that will come in your mind is golden sands, blue sea and packed Ibiza club floors. Its a great hybrid of progressive house and trance that will bring euphoria to your crowd straight away. Tribalish house beats and great hi-nrg driving basslines is the perfect soundbed for Tayas sexy voice to stand out and bring shivers all over our body. Its Balearic, cheerful, blissful, warm and tender ready for use this summer. If you feel in non vocal mode the release includes the top notch dub mix as well. Love iT!
