REVIEW: Mark Leanings - Whatever Happens out on Subculture/Armada Music

1.Whatever Happened To Puzzle Piece (John O'Callaghan Mashup)
2.Whatever Happens (Original Mix)
3.Whatever Happens (Arctic Moon Remix)

Irish talent Mark Leanings kicks in with a taste of trance, acid and pure melody on his latest offering ‘Whatever Happens’. A tune that catches you, instantly.

Alongside the energetic original, there’s also the Arctic Moon remix, adding a big-room layer of thick bass, distortive effects and much, much more! But that’s not all, cause there’s also a special treat to this release!

The latest creation of John O’Callaghan is more than just a mouthful of words crammed into a title. His mash-up of Mark Leanings’ ‘Whatever Happens’ and Space Rockerz & Tania Zygar’s ‘Puzzle Piece’ bursts with energy, melody and emotion.

Combine the acid trance waves of Irish talent Mark Leanings and let the proggy touch of Space Rocketz and the mesmerizing voice of Tania Zygar rush over, and you’re nearly there. All you need is the final touch of Irish mastermind John O’Callaghan. He completed the puzzle, creating a unique piece of music with ‘Whatever Happened To Puzzle Piece’.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Subculture is the trance label that you can trust for some serious uplifting anthems. The latest one is definitely one that has alot of buzz around it because of John O Callaghan Mash Up that is included and if you love vocal trance you will adore it.  The superb Mark Leanings presents his top production Whatever Happens so better be prepared to dance and sweat on the trancefloor. The original mix is a solid uplifting monster tune that rocks big time with dynamic rough beats, acid layers to get straight to the dark underground and sharp basslines to kick some  a** too. Of course the breakdown is simply magical with romantic piano and blissful little melodies  that soon are replaced with  phenomenal uplifting synthy lead that  slowly builds the excitement until to reach the crescendo in the main part that is pleasure for an uplifting trance lover like me. On board is the massive Artic Moon as well who knows what an uplifting ear needs to click and he delivers it without experimentation and progressive touches. The Polish trance star goes full on banging straight to the point for an epic clean cut banging version that will satisfy any trance addict in this earth and the whole galaxy I guess if Martians dance to trance of course. Wait until the vocal sample Turn Up The Bass appears and the tracks goes all filthy and nasty. Last but not least is JOC great Mash up that works as the atmospheric breakdown of the original needed desperately a vocal line and Tania Zygar's voice and lyrics sounds the appropriate to elevate the clubbers to a higher plain. Quality from the very first till its last seconds on a label that we can blidly trust for trance. Love IT!
