REVIEW: Karanda - Cloud Nine incl. Juventa remix on Alter Ego Records

1-Original Mix
2-Juventa Remix
3-Ozo Effy Remix

We welcome back the almighty UK production team Karanda for release sixty on Alter Ego Records with the very impressive, Cloud Nine! Having released their debut single entitled Karanda - Karanda back in 2009 on Alter Ego the boys have unleashed some magical records since then on the likes of Armada and Enhanced respectively.

In addition to the truly explosive original marking the return of Karanda on Alter Ego Music we have two huge remixes to boot from Dutch whizkid Juventa and the very talented up and coming Russian producer Ozo Effy. Both supply two very different, ground shaking versions!

Bold and beautiful springs to mind on the original mix of Cloud Nine. Karanda grab hold of the reigns with some real no nonsense percussion and underlying sub bass which grooves effortlessly! Haunting and chilling melodic lines spring to life in the breakdown which pull at the heartstrings before the track springs back into life with some hard hitting, soaring side-chained pads! More to come soon on Alter Ego Records from this daring duo!

Juventa smashes out his second remix for the label and turns in a complete floor destroyer. Packed to the rafters with high voltage peak time action! Don't miss this one!

Straight from St.Petersberg we have Ozo Effy who completes the package in style with a full on driving mix of Cloud Nine!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The talented Karanda from UK are back this time on Alter Ego records with a lovely playful progressive trancer Cloud Nine. The top original is supported by great remix package as well. The original version is a warm progressive trancer with bubbly balearic style beat and great trancy melodies on top along with a cool vocal as well. It starts slowly and groovy but very soon gets more body and energy with a stunning breakdown that haunting vocals are merged beautifully with piano melody and huge synths that will blow really out of proportion on the great climax. Its top choice to set the atmosphere and add some drive to your progressive trance set. Juventa is on remix duties and he adopts his playful electro prog trance sound perfect for what we term nowadays as Big Room. Melodic but with a clubbier edge for the more rocking floors and the sweaty sets. Juventa adds even additional vocals and transform it into a relentless party monster tune.  Lastly Ozo  Effy goes to the other side of the trance spectrum and he turns the deeper original into an upfront peak time epic banger that respects the original elements and despite the speed of sound remains on the same classic trance musical atmosphere. His breakdown is long and ethereal with warm relaxing and soothing atmospheres with focus points the magical solo piano part and then the huge swirling synth riff that will excite you right and exact to prepare you for the full on banging and pumping main part! This is what I call Trance! Love iT!
