REVIEW: Gradian & Rod Tailer - Iceberg out on Crystal Source recordings

1-Original Mix
2-Far From Near Remix
3-Kago Pengchi Remix

Next up on Crystal Source is a release from Gradian, a producer who we expect to see a lot more of over the coming months, who has teamed up with Rod Tailer to produce Iceberg. Iceberg is a cool epic trancer with some serious grunt, the Crystal Source way.

Far From Near offer us the first remix on the release, having turned the energy down on the track and really brought the melodies to the forefront, their remix oozes uplifting from every corner.

Rounding up things is Kago Pengchi with his banging trance remix. Definitely the clubbiest of the three versions with a big saw lead, bouncy bassline and sublime piano.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Crystal Source, the top sublabel of Unearthed records, returns with a massive uplifting trancer that is supported by two additional remixes to win your attention and become part of your balanced trance diet. Gradian and Rod Tailer who are new kinds on the trance block provide the masses an energetic uplifting trancer that follows the rules of the genre by the book with banging rocking fast paced beats, superb breakdown with huge drops and strong synths and full on hands in the air euphoric main part.   Far From Near deliver a 9 minutes long interpretation that has a progressive trance touch with techy edges as well. The breakdown is long and atmospheric and the main part euphoric and mesmerising without getting over the top. Perfect for the big room trance sets.  Last but not least Kago Pengchi service a delightful remix that is tough, rocking, shaking but very emotional and musical as well. The breakdown recreates the main theme with piano and arp instruments adding a Renaissance romantic edge to it. Of course the synths and the huge drops will bring us back to here and now ready to take off higher than the clouds for a massive euphoric main part. Like IT!
