REVIEW: Daniel Wanrooy & Blake Lewis - Stay In The Moment out on Black Hole

1. Extended Version
2. Alex Kunnari Remix
3. Paul Veth Remix

Daniel Wanrooy and vocalist Blake Lewis team up for the brand new single “Stay In The Moment”, out on the Black Hole imprint.

The original version of “Stay In The Moment” will appear on Daniel Wanrooy’s upcoming album “Slice Of Life”, a project that Daniel has been worked on while the progress of the entire project could be followed by his fans through the Slice Of Life EPs that he released in the meantime. “Stay In The Moment” turned out to be the perfect single as the follow up and for this particular title, Daniel worked together with Tiësto’s highly acclaimed producer, Dennis J. Waakop Reijers-Fraaij.

Those of us who have enjoyed Daniel’s previous vocal productions will most certainly love the way Blake Lewis laid down his lyrics for “Stay In The Moment”. Alex Kunnari and Paul Veth were assigned for the remixes and prepared some serious party versions of the original; here and there with a bit of enticing ‘maximal’ effects to it.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Daniel Wanrooy forthcoming album is shaped to become one of the finest that will be released during 2012. His latest single Stay In The Moment is tailor made for the big rooms that play big synths and tough beats along with strong vocals. In our case the vocals belong to the amazing US artist Blake Lewis who has the ability with his performance to offer that star quality. If you like uplifting dance sounds this release will satisfy your needs 100%. First of all is the exceptional extended version. Daniel manage to compose a bouncy fat and furious big room epic prog house meets trance crossover that will become your Spring anthem and will be your faithful company all through the summer as well as it has that balearic touch as well. Superbly crafted breakdown that offers the space for Blake to give one of his finest performances and get the crowd singing along with him with hands raised or by hugging and kissing their loved ones. The Finish talent Alex Kunnari rocks the big sound systems with his version that targets more the trouse or big epic prog house floors. It starts all minimal with the vocal getting the central role before to unleash his  banging and body shaking sharp basslines along with the chunky beats. The remix is so well produced that wide variety of djs from variety of styles will adopt it for their sets. On the package another upcoming talent is included as well. The superb Paul Veth from Breda delivers a fat hard banging epic prog house version influenced from the sound of Laidback Luke or Sander van Doorn as well. Of course Paul has his own unique approach to anything he produces and in this case his remix is full of surprises and elements that the big crowds in clubs and festivals will adore. Its a big club smasher but radio friendly too. Waiting with anticipation for Daniel's forthcoming album. Love IT!
