01. Mainline
Producer duo Vada present their debut single on the Magik Muzik imprint, entitled “Mainline”.
Vada is a collaboration between the producers Harry Diamond and Richie Kayvan, both of which have been active in the electronic dance music industry since the late nineties. Under various aliases like Distressed Frequencies, Groove Cyclone, Blanco Diablo, Dogzilla (with Simon Patterson) and Triple Hex they were the masterminds behind tracks such as “Excite Me”, “Ride The Groove”, “Konstruct”, “Your Eyes”, “Without You” and many, many more.
Known for a high-powered, high-energy trance sound with obvious progressive and techno influences, our friends from Vada show that they’re output is still up to par with the demand from today’s dance floors. “Mainline” begins deceivingly calm and takes its time to unwind from a smooth intro into an edgy and driving trance/big room gem. Heavy on the synths and beats, “Mainline” is a killer single worthy of Magik Muzik’s quality seal!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Magik Muzik is a label that you can trust blindfolded cause you know that the team behind it takes extra care to select and release only the finest EDM tracks around. Lately the label open its direction to more progressive sounding tracks but always with that highly infectious melodic touch. Vada provide to the masses a super special and very fine slice of progressive that can be trance or progressive house very easily. Its the type of tracks that manifests the end of genre tags cause I wonder what the use of labelling a track under a certain category when you know that producers strive to create with their baggage of influences their own distinctive sound. Vada in our case brings to the front the big uplifting synths of trance and bouncy beats of progressive and merge them in a superb and very explosive track with the title that is the essence of this beauty. Mainline is a big bulldozer that will set the dancefloor on fire and will send your audience to their highest highs always in the Main peak time of your set. Uplifting or Euphoric Dance is the subject under scrutiny in here. It starts quite minimal with that electro early ATARI style melody and quickly erupts in the first breakdown that the huge synths are unleashed and very soon the tough rocking beats are back with all the various sound layers on top playing in harmony together bringing that ecstatic smile to our faces. Relentless beats, well crafted breakdown with synths and claps reminds me in a way tracks from the glorious past of Magik Muzik. Modern but old school at the same time. Get ready to Jump a lot! Love It!
