REVIEW: Pedro Del Mar & Ingsha - Midnight Sun on In Trance We Trust

01. Original
02. Pedro del Mar Remix
03. Illitheas Remix
04. Kaimo K Remix

Pedro Del Mar recently released his 21st edition of his global Mellomania CD series and instead of taking a break he's presenting "Midnight Sun" in collaboration with German duo Ingsha. Over the years Pedro has released on almost every major company same as on every important dance label by a record of physical releases in more than 60 countries all across the globe. Behind the Ingsha brand you find Sasha Da Link and his partner Ingo Zielinski who frequently works alongside Roger Shah.

The retro flavoured Original Mix reminds a bit on the good old trance days with a two and a half minutes orchestral breakdown followed by the euphoric melody that touches the hearts of the trance fans out there. Pedro also delivers an additional remix, which may match today’s dance floors better with its clubby bassline and progressive influences but by the breakdown with its catching melody.

On remix duty are two fastly rising talents. German illitheas - known for some outstanding epic trance releases and also his previous collaboration with Pedro, demonstrates again why he belongs to the new generation of trance producer you should mark down by delivering this very emotional remix. Last but no least we have Kaimo K who delivers a perfect tool for all DJs who prefer it an edge faster by this uplifting trance jewel.

Dimitri Kechagias review: ITWT is on great shape bringing week after week some explosive releases for trance djs and trance fans worldwide. Pedro del Mar is a trusted player in the global trance scene and his brand new track is a collaboration with Ingsha that is a new name for me but I hope with more releases in the future. Midnight Sun embodies all the good things about the trance genre. Gentle progressive trancer that floats really nicely and the most important thing with really unforgettable orchestral music theme in the breakdown that can graciously drive the whole track in the big climax to deliver that emotional overload that only trance genre can of course. The remix package is extensive and opens your choices so think wisely. Pedro Del Mar remix has a balearic tribal trance sound but with more progressive house and electro influences in it. Its quite laid back version and will serve the slower proggier sets well. Illitheas faithful to his uplifting sensibilities sits at the driver seat of our spaceship and he take us high with a massive 9 minutes long uplifting version. Metallic trance beats and on top the beautiful classical music influenced theme will give you shivers all over your body particularly in the breakdown that ambient atmosphere, heavenly style vocals and huge orchestral part comes in for what I call a really cinematic breakdown to close your eyes for instance and watch the spaceship landing on the Moon and placing  the flag of Black Hole/ITWT telling the universe about the music and the labels  we all Love.  Last but not least my favourite version comes from the hands of Kaimo K. He offers a 9 minutes of driving epic euphoric feel good melodic trance that is straight to the point and reach its goal very easily. That is of course to uplift mind, body and spirit and maybe to change their perception of reality in order to see the world from a different point of view. His breakdown is cinematic as well but very soon the huge trance synths will come in the surface to tease you, build the anxiety and release it on the marvellous main part. Superb release that gives a good name in the trance genre for sure. Love It!
