Finally it’s here and already storming the top 10 charts of iTunes USA and The Netherlands. Ever since testing the first demo’s on the dancefloor, the scale of the hype for the new Ferry Corsten album has been huge, and now, finally the
WKND starts here!
“ After 20 years, Ferry’s still got it… And got it with a vengeance!” according to USA Trance Movement. “‘Live Forever’ sets a new speed record for catchiness, with career-best vocals from Aruna proving the first of many highs” is one of the lines from the Mixmag review of their Trance Album of the month April. “Corsten's WKND spaces things out perfectly to keep you entertained from beginning to end” as the New York Times owned company About.com is writing in their review on their website.

Ferry: “The theme behind the album is actually the album title, which is short for weekend. The album has to create that weekend feeling where people relax and enjoy themselves. In general, we just want positive vibes when it’s our weekend and not have too much to worry about. That’s why I really wanted to give the album an uplifting and positive vibe. You will find more vocal tracks then I ever did on one album. I worked little over a year on this album and I am really proud of the result and can’t wait to hear what the fans think of the album!”
Many of the tracks on the album have already stormed the dance charts around the world and are being hammered by the likes of Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Gareth Emery, Hardwell, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Benny Benassi, Sander van Doorn, Arty and many other high rollers.
The album contains 14 songs plus an iTunes exclusive bonus track and features collaborations with Armin van Buuren, Duane Harden, K’s Choice singer Sarah Bettens, Betsie Larkin, Aruna, Ellie Lawson, JES, Amba Shepherd & Pierre In The Air and last but not least Ben Hague on Ain’t No Stoppin’. This single is currently storming the charts and is played on BBC Radio 1, Radio 538, Slam!Fm in the Netherlands, Sirius XM in the US, Einslive in Germany and Radio FG in France just
to name a few radio stations.
