This week was very important for the music event that is considered to be the most successful electronic dance music festival of all times. If 2011 was magnificent as it seems 2012 is going to be even better and hard to believe your eyes and ears. ID&T Belgium announced that Tomorrowland 2012 that takes place from 27th to 29th of July will be the first EDM festival that is going to organise special flights from Brussels to 10 European capitals in order to offer to the visitors the absolute Tomorrowland experience that will start from the moment that they check in at the airport of their country in a special Tomorrowland desk and it will finish when they will fly from Belgium to their home country with a special Tomorrowland return flight. So for the very first time an event promoter offers the most complete package of entertainment and absolute enjoyment that includes flights/hotels/or camping at Dreamville and entrance to the most spectacular festival of all times.
What is more this week the official poster and the brand new artwork for the festival was revealed through the official launch of the web site that is the only accurate and official source of information for the event: www.tomorrowland.be . I notice that the idea of the fairy tale continues for this year as well and I suspect that the various stages will be decorated as old books that will narrate the myth of Tomorrowland as the poster portrays them. Of course its all about guessing at this moment because still nobody knows exactly how the festival ground will be at the end of July. You can guess, dream, wish and get excited but one thing is guaranteed that the decoration only will transfer you to another hard to believe dimension that fairy tales and electronic dance music will be combined in perfect harmony.
Its very interesting to notice that despite the fact that EDM is all about music composition and production through technological innovation and the latest music software for PC,MAC or even smart phones, Tomorrowland instead of reflecting that close bond between technology and EDM offers the door to their visitors to escape in past times and most importantly within a world of magic fairy tales. In other words to be transferred in our childhood and experience the festival with the innocence and purity of a child. Of course latest technology is very present at the festival grounds through the latest lighting effects, huge video walls in the various stages and the robotic cameras that watch every movement of the visitors in order to keep the festival grounds secure and safe as possible. In other words Tomorrowland loves and celebrate EDM and new technology but in the festival grounds the decoration theme communicates to our subconscious that constant need to escape in a mythical unreal world of fairies, strange creatures and adventure.
For some weeks now ID&T reveals every day one of the djs or live acts that will perform on the festival this summer. So far you all know already 20 “Tomorrowland” artists. But we still have many more artists to announce! Next few weeks you can expect more names representing the very best in progressive, psytrance, hardstyle, elektro, minimal… music.

Do not forget to check every day the official Tomorrowland 2012 social media to be updated and find out first if your favourite and beloved dj will perform in the festival this year. I love the discussions and the messages that fans send through facebook about their wishes for the djs that would love to see perform. If you check them all quickly you can note down firstly that the visitors look forward to be on the festival, many for the very first time and many others will be returning visitors that simply had fantastic time last year and they wish to experience the magic and the music once again. Secondly I notice that despite the decoration and the small details that make this event one of the best in the world Tomorrowland visitors are people who love, and respect music and djs very much and care about the final line up. In other words still the line up counts for them a lot and will be an important factor to decide to attend the event or not. Thirdly people with their comments express their satisfaction with the names of the artists announced but they know that there are many more to come in the coming weeks. If we consider what happened last year the perspective visitors can be rest assured that until the official day that the ticket sales will start the majority of the headliners will be announced so they will know if the music menu at Tomorrowland matters to them and if their favourite headliner will perform there LIVE.
If we consider the fact that millions of viewers watched the official 15 minutes after movie and if we count how many millions watched the various amateur videos that the visitors of the festival themselves uploaded to YouTube, we can guess that the interest and the anticipation is really high at the moment and considerable amount of the visitors will decide to go even if they will feel that are not 100% satisfied with the djs and artists that will perform there because simply they aspire to experience this unbelievable festival and narrate after years to their children that once they went to the global phenomenon and most important dance festival of all times that is Tomorrowland. If for past generations was a dream come to true to visit Disneyland and play around with Mickey and Donald Duck, for current and future generations will be a wish come true at least once in their life to attend Tomorrowland and proudly write and post their pictures in their facebook page or twitter to the world that You Know that I WAS THERE TOO.
