Magnus is a well known project delivering powerful psy trancers on labels like JOOF. Now on Perfecto Fluoro uncover their Velvet EP that includes 3 great originals and top remix by John O Callaghan. Velvet is a great hybrid of psytrance and uplifting trance that both trance camps will be happy to adopt it for their sets. Psy trance deep basslines but amazing melodies on top reveal a mouthwatering version perfect to bring that much needed trance on the dancefloor. The talented John O Callaghan transforms the track into a big room uplifting monster suitable for club trance sets. Stunning breakdown with the main theme shinning on top and absolutely gorgeous climax in the main part this is another example of how able and talented JOC is as an artist. Hypnotic is a powerful mainly psy trance track that can stand in a club trance environment as well. Long and driving to its fullest with great tribalish percussion will get you jumping and pumping non stop without long breakdowns just relentless beat mania . Lastly Soul Vector adopts a psytrance bassline but the uplifting elements are quite prominent as well. The breakdown is long with top notch breakbeat part with rock guitar riffs and heavenly vocals on top creating a superb mystical atmosphere. Certainly Magnus signals the way forward to many psy trance artists for a much more club trance direction. Love IT!
