1-Animus
2-Heavilectro

The first 2012 release on Fenology is here, it's an EP by JayB. He's back with "Animus" and "Heavilectro" and delivers two quality uplifting/energetic tunes once again!

JayB - Animus / Heavilectro [Sneak Peak] by musicandartist

Dimitri Kechagias review: The quality label  Fenology records headed by Woody van Eyden  presents the brand new release from the upcoming, very talented and equally promising JayB. First of all is Animus. A very energetic driving trancer that applies a warm balearic guitar melody in it to start dancing and dreaming of the warm summer nights that are not so faraway. Also he uses some vocal samples that really stand out and add some punch to the main body of his track. The breakdown is beautiful, sweet and very mesmerizing indeed with that lovely arp like synthy melody, huge drops to start warming up the engines and when the beat is back be warned for a full on banging trancer that will make you jumpin and pumpin asking for this to never end. Second on the package is the mysteriously named Heavilectro. From the name you guess right that JayB on this one is experimenting with playful electro basslines upon his bouncy firing beat that sounds quite harsh with psytrance influences as well  until the melodic layers to appear on top in order to make you fly and lead us smoothly on the large breakdown that a lovely piano riff takes center stage until the tough beat comes back for the big hands in the air climax. Synths, strings and that piano melody work wonderfully together to deliver an uplifting experience that will take you right in front at  HeavensGate. Love It!
