Never lacking the possibility to get you moving to a mix of styles and open minds to fusion, has ever been the key to Chicane’s success.

UK producer Nick Bracegirdle has been at the very top of EDM for more than 15 years, touching hearts with tracks like ‘Saltwater’, ‘Offshore’, ‘Don’t Give Up’ and ‘Poppiholla’.

In 2012, the living legend bridges prog-trance and hip-hop, by inviting UK rapper Aggi Dukes for the new single ‘Going Deep’.

A real melting pot of styles, with an unforgettable music video on the side!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Zouk recordings brings always amazing progressive house anthems and the latest one is by Chicane. The talented producer Nick Bracegirdle who has some of the most unforgettable trance/prog house classics returns with a big room epic prog house anthem. The Club mix is a stunning epic prog house anthem that has all the elements to win your audience and its attention span for quite long. It starts quite minimal but soon grows bigger and bouncier with that top melodramatic synthy riff keeping the proceeding growing until to land on the deep and very atmospheric breakdown that huge pizzicato style synthy riff rises at the top raising the heat and the  tension on the dancefloor along with atmospheric female chorus style vocals that create that heavenly deep atmosphere. When the beat comes back it will demand to dance along and do your moves on the trancefloor. Big room all the way it recalls in some ways Faithless and their Insomnia/Salva mea style tunes. Of course the rap vocals on top add to the track the commercial dimension so the track to reach a more mainstream audience and I think it does it quite well. Of course if you feel in non vocal mood for a prog trance set for instance the dub mix is perfect for heavy use. The release includes some very cool additional translations with VillaNaranjos delivering a deep tech house alternative that is 10 minutes long and it uses the pizzicato synthy riff in a more epic way with additional blippy melody on top. Tech house to keep the body fluids boiling and the extra body fat melting too. Last but not least  Steeve Smart & Westfunk provide the more straight forward progressive house remix with bangier beats, funky edge, and full use of the vocal. If you search for that straight forward house version this remix will serve you well. Do not miss to check out the video that really is a big surprise. Love IT!
