2011 was a busy but successful year for Alex O'Rion and marked a revolutionary epoch in the career of the Dutch DJ/Producer. In that time it’s seen him sign with one of the UK’s foremost DJ agencies, successfully initiate his new radio show/podcast and become head of A&R for Black Hole’s Terminal 4 label. He also turned loose his impressive, wide-scope debut album, “The Bigger Room”.

O’Rion’s unique audio equation first caught the attention of the world’s top-tier of DJs and encouraged from the start by the musically likeminded Richard Durand, he began to lay the foundations for his first long-player. Time has since then moved on for Alex and once again the man presents a brand new single, entitled "We Live In The Dark".
Using complex, cutting edge sounds, FX and arrangements, the track is a dynamic floorfiller that vibrantly crossbreeds progressive with tech trance. As Alex himself once said: "I want my productions to ‘fill’ every corner of dance space that they’re played in". We Live In The Dark is a cool progressive trancer with house, electro and tech elements too. Its characteristic is of course its  dark cutting edge moody melody. Its epic and uplifting but without getting over the top as the dark and sinister melody keeps things low. Superb breakdown with quality synthy work done in the best possible way sudden stop and the beat is back with all the melodic layers on the top of it for the big hands in the air climax. Creative and inspired progressive trancer for the Big Rooms from a talent that its reputation grows bigger every single day. Love IT!
