Still peaking charts, rocking nations and moving lovers, makes it the right time to set loose the stunning remixes of Dash Berlin’s ‘Better Half Of Me’ ft. Jonathan Mendelsohn! Part 2 includes the energetic Shogun remix, as well as the tender, break-beatish Rave CHannel remix!

One of the biggest highlights in the career of Dutch producer/DJ Dash Berlin, has been the release of one of the first singles of his upcoming album, ‘Better Half Of Me’. A strong trancer, with the heart-rending vocals of Jonathan Mendelsohn, became the object of affection to ten-thousands – if not millions – of dance lovers. This highlight now gets a great re-run through the powerful ‘The Remixes’ package, now ready for its second Part!

US based producer/DJ Shogun has given ‘Better Half of Me’ an energetic push, stirring it up with sweeping strings, a pulsating beat and heartfelt break. Russian boy-girl duo Rave Channel delivered a new, special touch to the song with their remix. Besides taking us in with a break-beat feel to ‘Better Half of Me’, they also added the warm, female vocals of Natalia Yakovleva to this beauty. A perfect addition of the ‘other half’!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The first part of the remixes reached number 1 in my weekly Flux Top 40 chart and definitely is one of the finest vocal trancers released this year from Dash Berlin who had an amazing 2011. Better Half of Me gets even better with two high quality remixes that you will not get enough of them as both are produced with the highest standards that this great track deserves of course. Shogun who wins our heart once again composes a fat stompin heat raising progressive trance version on his well known established style. Driving menacing prog trance beats, deep basslines, and  huge epic synths to make this track your top anthem of the night. Jonathan vocals on top add character and personality to dance and sing a long. I'm left speachless with the massive Rave Channel take on the track. Their very inspiring version is absolutely special and sounds difficult to describe how complex and pleasurable is at the same time. It starts with mind travelling breakbeat part and then goes full on electro prog trance with the top vocals on top. Here comes the first and most imaginative surprise that is the idea to add a second female voice to elevate and magnify its emotional effect upon the unsuspected listener. The breakdown comes with big piano part until the breakbeat comes back to get you on a trip as the voices sounds like fighting against the huge waves of sound. Big room anthemic version to make you adore this vocal beauty even more. Love IT!
