REVIEW: Eric Shaw & Douglas Hazelwood - Before The After out on Dangerbox

Eric Shaw & Douglas Hazelwood - Before The After (Deluna Remix)

Eric Shaw & Douglas Hazelwood collaborated last year and made this beautiful track "Before The After." It was featured on our Dangerbox & Friends vol.1 compilation, and still we find it today to be one of those tracks you can't forget. This is one of the final tracks selected to come from that compilation as a single, because of it's hype. But just to keep things fresh we added two remixes from Sundrowner & Deluna.

Sundrowner keeps things in place, with a more solid progressive sound. A steadfast bassline gives the remix all the power it needs. Mesmerizing arps and the chord progressions from Eric & Douglas' break come out in this version better.

Deluna comes back with more of a harder approach... straight up dirt. Filthy Progressive at its best, and he touches it...here & there... with "Before The After" melodies. Not something Deluna would usually deliver in his remixes, but we love it.

Enjoy.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The superb artists from Dangerbox Eric Shaw & Douglas Hazelwood co-operate to produce a brilliant track that is already in the playlist of many well known djs worldwide amongst them Above & Beyond. The Original mix is energetic pumpy melodic electro trancer with  the usual dirt and glitz that this label  offer us but with a really nice lovely and sincere breakdown with warm feel good melodies that lead us on the main part that is a non stop hands in the air anthem style.Sundrowner provide the best remix as it has more dynamism, drive and of course additional melodic riffs, superb chord progression and even larger breakdown with wishful melodies, distorted basslines and little twingle melodies that lead us on the main part that is really summer and optimistic for sure. Deluna mix is more powerful than usual but really creative with nice ideas and variation on the original mix.
