Above & Beyond feat. Zoe Johnston - You Got To Go (Dusky Remix)

Following in the footsteps of Above & Beyond’s BBC Radio 1 playlisted singles “Sun & Moon” and “Thing Called Love”, the more optimistic “You Got To Go” is a song about seizing the moment and taking control of the opportunities in front of you.

Inspired by Kyau & Albert’s energised club remix of the original album version, the A&B vs. K&A Radio Edit combines the melodic riff-driven energy of the Kyau & Albert remix with a more radio-focused approach – capturing the song’s beauty and orchestral touches perfectly.

The release package includes the club-driven Kyau & Albert remix, a musical summertime rework from the legendary MJ Cole, as well as a second more bass-driven dub from the garage pioneer. Also available are Above & Beyond’s groove-fuelled Club Mix, the Extended Album Mix and an organic tech-house version from upcoming duo Dusky.

Dimitri Kechagias review: It's not an easy task to keep on being so successful and influential in the global electronic music scene for so many years and definitely needs hard work to compose music that reflects the current climate in the clubs but through your own creative flair and personality. This is what exactly Above and Beyond manage to do all through the years and is evident in their latest album Group Therapy. They are still fans of uplifting feel good melodies but with house and electro influences as well. You Got To Go has a playful bubbly progressive trance style but heavily influenced from the prominent progressive house scene. Zoe stands out with her mesmerizing delivery of the really empowering vocals particularly within harsh and gloomy days that we live in. The brand new club mix is directed for the big rooms and will be one of the highlights of your sets. The review for the Kyau vs Albert mix you can check it right here . Some words for the additional surprising in my opinion versions that widen the appeal of A&B to other unexplored music scenes as well. MJ Cole delivers a stunning dubby jazzy lounge version that gets the ticket immediately for any Cafe Del Mar style of compilations that will be released from now on. Just imagine playing in your car stereo this top version when you will return back home after clubbing. The perfect come down moment of course. The top project Dusky that soon will release an excellent album on Anjunadeep as well provide a stunning cool and really smooth and dreamy tech house alternative but with so much melody and cinematic atmosphere that you could easily choose for your next movie soundtrack if you score films and you want to add in your scene some additional meaning. This is awesome release from Above & Beyond that in November will release the brand new Anjunabeats vol. 9 mixed compilation.
