REVIEW:Solid Gaz - Deep Down Inside E.P. out on Fame/Armada music

1.Deep Down Inside (Original Mix)
2.Dream Pleasure (Original Mix)
3.Give You Love (Original Mix)

Next to serving quality house beats, the Fame label can also be a stepping stone for new talent on the rise. Two of those talents are Dutch duo Simon & Daniel, uniting in the Solid Gaz team-up. After a stunning remix for Mischa Daniels’ ‘Child Of Love’ single, they now enter the playground of EDM with three of their own monsters. Let’s see what these guys are about, as they present their Deep Down Inside E.P.

Truth be told, there’s something about these tracks. While some house tracks ride the standard formula, these three beat-babies stretch out far beyond the expected bleeps and hi-hats of a classic houser. ‘Deep Down Inside’ mixes atmospheric melodies with big-room stabs, energetic synths and playful details. ‘Give You Love’ carries the soul of progressive, while kicking in with the intensity of house. Last but not least, ‘Dream Pleasure’ balances electric trance synths with a sweep of house and vocoder vocals.
Three tracks that showcase a promising producer duo, better keep an eye on Solid Gaz!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Fame is one of the house labels that manage to put a foot in the scene and get recognition and support by many A list djs. Solid Gaz is a brand new name for the label and the future for them can only be promising if we consider this EP that includes three equally powerful progressive house bombs ready to become the next big anthem of the night. This incredible duo manage to combine elements and influences from the past, present and create the sound of the future. Big pumpy progressive house beats with feel good melodies coupled with old school house vocal hooks create the perfect mix to win the hearts of boys and girls in the global dancefloors. Deep Down Inside is a dirty dutch house groover with big piano melodies and old school vocal hook that gives the track a sense of homemade music and not being elaborately made in the studio. Dream Pleasure is tougher with playful atmosphere, hi nrg big room synthy riffs and vocodered vocals adding a Daft Punk like sense. Give your Love sounds modern and old school at the same time but more  tribalish with big melodic synthy hooks to raise the hair from your back and get you without even noticing it in the middle of the dancefloor. Highly recommended for epic house lovers!
