REVIEW: Cubicolor - No Dancers out on Anjunadeep

10.0
Overall Score

Cubicolor’s new single ‘No Dancers’ exemplifies the trio's capacity for inimitable, sincere songwriting. Enveloping Tim Digby-Bell’s melancholic lyrics in a rich arrangement of arpeggiated synthesizers and cascading keys, the Dutch trio create a dreamlike soundscape that is at once both foreboding and promising. Cubicolor kick off their debut live European tour later this month, taking in Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin before ending with a sold-out show at London’s Pickle Factory. In November they head stateside to support Rüfüs Du Sol on 11 dates of their North American album tour.

Summary

Cubicolor continues to unleash great tasters from their forthcoming album including the brilliant No Dancers. The track is a magnificent deep melodic electronic house style track with slow rolling grooves, emotional synths, moody strings and floating sounds that support beautifully the tripping out male vocals that will be impossible to resist as slowly grab your attention and then slowly will be absorbed in your soul. Majestic sounds and cinematic atmosphere perfect to escape on the dancefloor or after your hectic day at work! #PureGold Love IT
