We're very pleased to welcome the very talented Russian producer Dave Shtorn to Neuroscience Deep. With recent releases on labels such as Baroque, Lowbit and Armada, Dave seems to be climbing the ranks in the progressive scene. He has a great deep and atmospheric sound, filled with beautifully subtle melodies, and clever rhythms.
With 'Aylan's Dreams', Dave has done a sterling job. He's delivered a track with a solid and driving progressive groove. He gently builds the tension with the addition of some great melodic elements, which lead us in to the gorgeous piano-led breakdown! We think Dave Shtorn is a name to keep an eye one!
Backing up the tasty original mix, we have some nice remixes from some other up-an-coming names; Croatian producer System Divine makes a welcomed return to the label, alongside Russian producer En-Core, Hungarian producer Flashtech and Dutch producer EcueD, who are making their début appearance. Dimitri Kechagias review: Neuroscience Deep is one of the most talk about currently because of the high quality tracks they release week by week. You can expect cross over tracks that can played in early trance and main melodic prog house sets. Original version is a deep mysterious full of fantastic layers of sounds and effects like diving in the deepest sides of any warm and welcoming sea alongside sea turtles. System Drive goes for a more tribal mix including some great layers of industrial like melody. It reminds me tracks from Hooj Choons. Flashtech adds more bounce, energy and drive to take the track within the trance arenas. EcueD remix stands out for his incredible lushius ambient like breakdown. Lastly En-Core goes for a more loungy cool prog house mix that all edges are gone and it is the perfect track to finish off a nice set in a beach bar. Great package with plenty of options for any progressive lover.
